Dimesly is a personal savings assistant that helps you organise coupons, loyalty cards, and promotional codes, and reminds you to use them when you're near a store.

When you create an account we collect your email address and, optionally, your full name. These are stored securely and used to identify your wallet.
Everything you add to your wallet — store names, coupon codes, expiry dates, estimated values, conditions, and your usage history — is stored and associated with your account.
When you use the Nearby feature, we read your device's GPS coordinates to calculate distances to stores. Location is accessed only while the app is open (foreground). We never track your location in the background without your explicit consent, and we never store raw GPS coordinates on our servers.
To send you expiry reminders we register your device for push notifications. The token is stored in your profile and is never shared with third parties or used for advertising.
We store your language preference, preferred currency, and app-lock setting locally on your device using secure storage. These are not sent to our servers.
If you use the 'Upload screenshot' feature, the image is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to extract coupon details. The image is processed and immediately discarded — we do not store screenshots or share them beyond this single extraction request.
Your account data and wallet contents are stored in Supabase — a cloud database platform hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU region. All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.2+. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256.
Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure that each user can only ever read and write their own data. Even our own team cannot read your coupons without explicit database access.
Your device preferences (language, currency, biometric lock) are stored locally using AsyncStorage and are never transmitted.

When you add a new store, we send only the store's domain name (e.g. nike.com) to Clearbit's logo API to fetch a logo image. No personal data is shared.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all your data (coupons, profile, push token) is deleted immediately and cannot be recovered. Anonymised, aggregated analytics (e.g. total app savings) may be retained for product improvement.
Dimesly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will notify you of significant changes via an in-app notification. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
